High School to College Paradigm Shift for Learning Differences Accommodations
 
Paul H. Levitch, Certified Educational Planner (CEP), will discuss the continuum of services available for college students with learning differences, i.e. basic services, coordinated learning disabilities services, and comprehensive programs. Attendees will also learn how to evaluate these programs and services in order to help students identify and select colleges where they can be successful and happy. A representative from High Point University's Academic Services Center in North Carolina will provide a specific example of how one college meets the needs of its students with learning differences.



Learning abilities acquired here are internalized.  A typical student leaves with intact learning processes, without the need for continued intervention or content tutoring.
